DAY 1 July 26,
Saturday - Antalya, Phaselis,
Olympus

Morning flight to Antalya. We visit the old town
and magnificent Archaeological Museum of Antalya and have lunch
at a decent restaurant. After lunch,
we drive to Phaselis and board Mehmet Usta, sail
to ancient city of Olympus. Depending on the
weather conditions we overnight either in Maden
Cove or Porto Geneose.

DAY 2 July 27,
Sunday -
Gelidonya Lighthouse, Finike
  
This morning we sail to Adrasan Bay, take a van and
drive 16 km to the west of Gelidonia Peninsula
where we start hiking to the Lighthouse.
We enjoy the beautiful view of Besadalar (Five
islands) and back to the Karaoz Bay where we
meet our boat. Late in the afternoon we sail 1.5
hours to Finike. Logistic supply in the
marina and spend night in the marina or in Telsiz Cove.

DAY 3 July 28,
Monday - Cedar Forest, Arycanda, Gokkaya
Bay   
Today, we drive to the mountains to see beautiful natural forest of Cedar of
Lebanon and
may visit Arycanda one more time. We
visit the local fruit market next to the
waterfall of Arif and have lunch at a trout restaurant.
We then drive to Cayagzi, the ancient
harbor of Myra to meet our gulet. We overnight in Gokkaya
Bay.

DAY 4 July 29,
Tuesday - Ucagiz,
Kekova Area
  
In the morning we hike from Gokkaya Bay to Ucagiz , a small ancient Lycian
settlement next to Simena. We visit the
village and Lycian remains. Later we anchor in a
secluded cove in the Kekova area for lunch, swim,
and overnight.

DAY 5 July 30,
Wednesday - Aperlae,
Kas, Kalkan
  
We take a short hike to Aperlae after breakfast where
we can snorkel above
the sunken ruins. Then we cruise toward Kas. We
swim and have lunch in Bayindir Bay near Kas and
then sail to Kalkan. We anchor in Firnaz Bay
near Kalkan and overnight there.
DAY 6 July 31,
Thursday -
Kalkan, Letoon, Saklikent Canyon, Tlos,
Gemiler Island


This
morning we start a van trip from Kalkan and drive to Letoon, the shrine of Leto and her twin children, Apollo
and Artemis. Leto, pregnant by Zeus, gave birth on Delos Island and then escaped from
the anger of Hera to Lycia to rise her children. We
continue to Saklikent
Canyon, 300 metres
deep and 18 kilometers long, then visit a village
cooperative where famous Turkish carpets,
woven by one thousand women in the surrounding
villages, are sold. We also have lunch in a village and
continue driving to Tlos, one of the six most important cities of ancient
Lycia. Tlos was a splendid city in a beautiful
environment and bore
the title of the very brilliant
metropolis of the Lycian nation under the
Roman empire. Afterwards we drive to Gemiler cove,
meet our boat and
overnight there.
DAY 7 August 1,
Friday
- Gemiler Island, Bedri Rahmi Cove
  
In
the morning we hike Gemiler Island, the beautiful piece of land covered
with early monastic structures and wild olive
trees. We swim, kayak
or ski and have lunch there. In the afternoon
we sail to Bedri Rahmi Bay, one of the interesting inlets in the gulf
of Fethiye, locally known as Taskaya. This bay
was named after Bedri Rahmi Eyüpoglu, a Turkish
writer and artist. He was one of the first to
experience a ‘Blue Voyage’ back in 1973. During
this pioneer journey, he painted a picture of a
fish on a boulder behind the fountain here.
We overnight there or in another quiet cove.
DAY 8 August 2,
Saturday
- Gocek, Dalaman, Istanbul

After breakfast we leave our gulet in Gocek and
drive to Dalaman Airport to take an Istanbul
flight.
